IPTV on Multiple Devices: Plans and Simultaneous Streams

Registered devices vs simultaneous streams, explained - so you pick the right plan for your household.

When people ask about “devices” on an IPTV plan, they usually mean one of two different things: how many physical devices you can install your login on, and how many of those can stream at the same time. This page explains the difference so you choose the right plan.

Registered Devices vs Simultaneous Connections

A SmartTVs plan is sold by device count – 1, 2 or 3 – and that number is the number of simultaneous connections allowed on your login at the same time, not a hard limit on how many apps or devices you can install it on.

  • You can install your login on several devices around the house (a Fire Stick in the living room, an app on a phone, a Smart TV in the bedroom).
  • Your plan decides how many of those can play a stream at the same moment.
  • A 1-device plan means one stream running at a time; start a second stream elsewhere and the first will usually stop or struggle.

Choosing a Plan by Household

Household exampleSuggested planWhy
One person, one TV1 deviceOnly one stream is ever needed at a time.
A couple who sometimes watch different things in different rooms2 devicesCovers two simultaneous streams – living room and bedroom, for example.
A family with a living room TV, a bedroom TV and a tablet in use at the same time3 devicesCovers up to three simultaneous streams across the household.

See exact pricing for each device count and duration on our Pricing page.

What Happens If You Go Over Your Device Count?

Starting more simultaneous streams than your plan allows typically causes the newest connection, or an older one, to buffer, freeze or be refused. This is a plan limit, not a fault with your internet – check our internet speed guide if you are also seeing buffering within your allowed device count.

Supported Devices

Your login works across most streaming devices and apps. See the full compatibility table on our IPTV compatible devices page.

Multiple Devices: Frequently Asked Questions

Can I install my IPTV login on more than one device?

Yes. You can install it on several devices; your plan controls how many can stream at the same time, not how many devices it is installed on.

What is the difference between a 1-device and 3-device plan?

The number refers to simultaneous connections. A 3-device plan allows three streams running at once across your household; a 1-device plan allows one.

Can I upgrade my plan later if I need more devices?

Message us on WhatsApp and we can talk you through moving to a higher device-count plan.

Does sharing my login with family outside my home affect my plan?

Your plan is intended for your own household’s simultaneous use. Sharing it more widely than your device count allows can affect service for everyone using that login.
